What a different year this has been, with more rain, and cooler summer nights. We have so much available we decided to select a few things for the produce bags, but if you want swiss chard, parsley, corn, broccoli, radish, turnips, eggplant, peppers, strawberries, or something else, we are glad to make a custom order, or substitute items from the produce bag.   That is right, we have some August Strawberries, not a lot, but last week we did manage to pick 10 quarts!
You can pick up your produce bag Wednesday evening at the Rockwood Farmers Market, Friday evening from the Farm, or Saturday morning from the Guelph Farmers Market.  If you have long weekend plans, hopefully one of those locations suits you!
The next Chicken butcher is August 17th.  We do have some cut up chicken if you wish to buy just Chicken breast, drums, thighs, wings, etc.  We are also taking the first round of 5 little piggies to the butcher on August 15th, so we will have more pork available by September!
