Yet another sunny fall week and we continue to have ample produce with only a few light frosts in sight. We will keep the produce coming so long as we can continue to grow it. We planted some more Radish in a cold frame in hopes for some late December small Radish. We will see if planting in early November works in the cold frames! This week we took the last 3 pigs for the year to the butcher. We will have more Back Bacon and Peameal bacon and thick cut Mogk Bacon next week. We also have Christmas Turkeys available, we hope they will be around the 15-24lb mark as we are not growing them quite as large as the mega Turkeys are Thanksgiving!
This week in the produce bag we will have lettuce mix and baby leaf spinach along with a lot of the usual suspects this time of year! If you want to order Tomatoes or Cherry Tomatoes we will have a limited supply this week and possibly the very last few next week. Remember, if the produce bag is too large, just order the items you want and we can make you a custom bag. Generally all items are $4-$5 and we try to give you a bonus 😉
